El rock australiano no sólo vive de AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Beast of Bourbon o Radio Birdman. Cold Chisel, liderados por Jimmy Barnes, también se merecen un lugar privilegiado en la historia del rock'n'roll facturado en el país aussie. Sus primeros discos son más que recomendables para todo amante del buen rock hecho con pelotas. "Cold Chisel" y "Breakfast at sweethearts", que vieron la luz en los 70, son de obligada escucha y os invito a hacerlo si todavía no hacen parte de vuestras vidas.
En su primer L.P, editado en el 78 y titulado simplemente "Cold Chisel", cerraban de manera sublime con uno de los temas más bellos que uno puede escuchar como es "Just how many times". Tristeza y melancolía sobrevuelan en esta maravilla que nadie, con un mínimo de sensibilidad en sus venas, debería perderse. Excelso a more no can.
